We are the service provider for children with autism and other communication disorders using Applied Behavior Analysis’s (ABA) principles.

Autism means withdrawal into self, which is marked impairment in the reciprocal social and interpersonal interaction. The word autism described for the first time by Leo Kannar in 1943 as “Autistic Disturbances of Affective Contact”.

Characteristics of children with Autism:

·         Absent of social Smile

·         lack of eye to eye contact

·         Lack of attachments to parents and absence of separation anxiety.

·         Abnormal social play, prefers solitary games

·         Lack of imitating behavior

·         Absence of fear in presence of danger

·         Behavioral issues

This syndrome is more common in males has prevalence rate of 0.4- 0.5 per 1000 population. Typically autism occurs before the age of 2 ½ years. In some cases it may occur later in the childhood. As treatment Behavior therapy is more often used for this syndrome.

Global Rise in Autism.

As per 1988 censes one in 2220 children, in 2012 censes one in 110 children. (Survey by: Department of Developmental Services California, Center for disease control 2007)

It demonstrates a functional relationship between events in the environment and behavior.
